Kickoff Meeting for Transformative Research Area (B) Held
On July 16–17, 2026, Tohoku University hosted the first kickoff meeting for the Transformative Research Area (B) project “Self-Formation Neuroscience: Decoding Self–Other Awareness through Gaze and Eye Movements,” led by Professor Mayu Takahashi as Principal Investigator.
The meeting brought together the project’s co-investigators, Dr. Ninomiya and Dr. Wen, along with the advisory board members, Dr. Minamimoto, Dr. Takumi, and Dr. Imamizu, who each gave presentations.
Active discussions took place on the research plan and future direction, allowing all members to share the overall vision of the project and hold a productive exchange toward its future progress.
