We Invited Professor Ryosuke Takahashi to Give a Joint Seminar (Neurology & Physiology)
On June 3, 2026, a joint seminar between the Department of Neurology and the Department of Physiology was held at the Seiryo Kaikan Large Conference Room, Seiryo Campus, Tohoku University School of Medicine.
We were honored to welcome Professor Ryosuke Takahashi, Councilor of the Office for Research Strategy and Distinguished Professor Emeritus at Kyoto University, who gave a lecture titled “Molecular Pathology of Parkinson’s Disease: Focusing on the Alpha-Synuclein Propagation Hypothesis.” He presented the latest findings on the mechanisms underlying alpha-synuclein propagation in the pathogenesis of Parkinson’s disease, followed by an active Q&A session.
